Arianne & Friends Perform at "Scene From Above"
Produced by local dance activists Jim Self and Eric Trules, "Scene From Above - Movement and Messages Approaching LAX" asks various dance artists to create new work on the rooftop of a building underneath the LAX flight path. The work imagines what an air traveler might see when flying into LAX while looking at the “ground activity” on the rooftop of 1019 West. The dances will be equally exciting seen from ground level and rooftop locations, and are meant to provoke the viewer to imagine multiple viewpoints for experiencing an artistic event. Come join in this unusual and one-of-a-kind dance event!
Featuring the lovely and talented: Angelina Attwell, Sarah Culberson, Eliza Pfister, Max Eugene, and Arianne MacBean.
