Arianne co-facilitates Diavolo Veterans Project Workshops
Because of the work Arianne has done with veterans as part of The Collective Memory Project, she is honored to have been asked to help facilitate a series of workshops for veterans produced by DIAVOLO | Architecture in Motion®.
DIAVOLO is a highly athletic dance company that has been performing nationally and internationally for the past seventeen years. They are interested in the relationship between the human body and its environment and are exploring this focus through an exciting new series of workshops with Los Angeles Veterans.
Participants will be led through movement and creative exercises that support performance and collaborative skills needed in the arts and entertainment fields. Travel expenses will be reimbursed up to $20and lunch will be provided. At the end of the workshop series, there will be an opportunity for committed participants to receive paid employment with DIAVOLO | Architecture in Motion® in creating and performing in a public performance.
This is a GREAT opportunity to get to develop skills that support work in any arts and entertainment industry, and to possibly get paid to perform with DIAVOLO! The May 21st workshop will be facilitated by community arts leader Stephen Koplowitz (The Veterans Project Director), and assisted by Arianne MacBean, Artistic Direcotr of The Big Show Co. Details: Saturday, May 21, 2016, 10am-2pm, Bob Hope Patriotic Hall, 1816 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles CA 90015
